Top Ten Tuesday #35

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Books on My Fall 2022 TBR

This week’s prompt is the yearly “Books on My Fall 2022 TBR.” I may plan to read specific books during the next three months because they fit a challenge, they’re for book club, or I just want to read them. Whether I stick to my plan is all dependent on my mood. I can’t force myself to read something I’m not in the mood to read. It’s still fun to make a list, though. Here are ten books I might read this fall, mood permitting:

I’m most excited to read A FIRE ENDLESS by Rebecca Ross, but it doesn’t come out until December 6. Until then, I have a lot of other awesome books to look forward to reading.

What about you? Which books are on your fall TBR? Do we have any in common?

The covers on a lot of there are gorgeous, aren’t they? They definitely suck you in. 😀 Even though I’m most excited to read A FIRE ENDLESS, I’m also really excited to read THE UNDERTAKING OF HART AND MERCY. It sounds so fun!

I still have yet to read A River Enchanted despite preordering it. I loved Feed, but never finished the series… Curse of the mood reader!

When you do read A RIVER ENCHANTED, I hope you love it as much as I did. 😀 And, totally get not finishing a series, lol. I have so many I haven’t finished.

This is the first time I’ve heard about the controversy. You’re not the only one to mention it, though. I looked it up and it’s quite interesting. I’ll still read the book, though. I don’t like cancelling people just because they do or may have done something I don’t agree with. There’d be nothing to read, lol. 😀

I’m a mood reader too. Ooh Daisy Darker! And The Maid! Everyone’s been raving about that one and I almost picked it up… then I forgot about it. Need to re- add. 🙂

I didn’t like “The Maid” although I think it was me because everyone else I know enjoyed it very much. The Crawdads author was involved in an actual murder, I think.

LOL. I have a couple of IRL friends that often don’t like books that everyone else seems to love. I’m usually more easy to please, lol. 😀 And, I had no idea about the controversy for Crawdads. I looked it up after you and a few others talked about it. It’s very interesting.

I think it’s more common than we think with bloggers. I know a lot of bloggers push through it, though, because they want ARCs and to participate in tours. I can’t, lol. 😀

So many good books on your list, Jenni. I hope you enjoy them all. I can recommend, Love on the Brain, The Maid, and Where the Crawdads Sing. I’ve heard good things about the others too. I hope you enjoy them all!

You’ve got some amazing books on this list! A bunch are on my TBR, but The Stardust Thief and The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy were two of my favorite reads from over the summer, so I hope you love them as much as I did!

Doesn’t it?! I love the cover of that one so so so much. It’s one of my favorites that I’ve seen this year. I also picked up a copy of THE MAID on my Kindle anyway. It’s my book club’s pick for November. 😀

Daisy Darker and Stardust Thief are both on my TBR list but didn’t make my “read this fall” list. Though depending on when library books come through, my list is totally flexible. I get the feeling most of these lists are hope or wish or suggestion lists, not necessarily something to strictly adhere to. I hope you enjoy whatever you end up reading!

I have so many books on my TBR that didn’t make my fall TBR. Who knows, though. Because I’m a mood reader, I may read books that are completely different from this list. LOL. 😀

I’ve seen Horror Hotel before and it does look very intriguing. Will need to add it to the TBR now before I forget again. LOL Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Have a lovely week.

I’m so glad to hear that, Mareli! The Maid is my book club’s read for November and I’m really trying to get Crawdads read because I want to watch the movie. 😀

That’s good to know. I want to see the movie so much! I’m trying to read the book first. 😀 I’ve just been spending most of my reading time on my blog update. LOL.

I have been wanting to read The Love Hypothesis, but I’m very tempted by Love on the Brain too now! One on my friends read The Love Hypothesis and loved it – and it’s so hyped up in the online book community too! Hope you enjoy Love On The Brain, and of course all the other books on your list – if you are in the mood to read them. I’m a bit of a mood reader too!
I am so sorry for the late reply – I have had a very crazy week! Happy reading!

Thanks, Zoë! 😀 I adored THE LOVE HYPOTHESIS too. The banter and the sexual tension between the characters was written really well. I’m very excited to read LOVE ON THE BRAIN now. 😀
