Top Ten Tuesday #30
Books I Love that were Written Over 10 Years Ago
I think this week’s prompt is “Books I Love that were Written Over 10 Years Ago.” As bloggers, I think we tend to focus on the more recently published books when there are so many other awesome books written a long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away ). Anyway, here are my top ten 15 books:
All of these books were published before 1990 and I rated them four or five stars when I read them.
What about you? Which books written more than 10 years ago did you love reading? Do we have any in common?
I actually read seven of those books, so we have a lot of them in common. Great. I really enjoyed your list.
Thanks for visiting my TTT this week.
Thanks, Marianne! 😀 I’m glad you like my list so much!
Fox in Sox! That book brings back memories.
LOL. Yes, to me too. I had to recite it in one of my theater classes in college. The tongue twisters helped us loosen our tongue and we had to practice and practice until we could say them without being tripped up. 😀
Dr. Seuss!!! I loved reading him to my students and my kiddos when they were little! Where are the Children also stuck with me for a really long time!
I love reading Dr. Seuss aloud, especially Fox in Socks. His books are just so much fun and kids and adults love them! 😀
I actually didn’t read very much before blogging so my list would be a struggle and mostly travelogue or foodie style books lol
Karen @For What It’s Worth
I didn’t either, but I did read some. And, most of these books are books I’ve read during my blogging era, anyway. 😀
Lots of great classics for this week’s TTT!
Yep. 😀
I’ve only read To Kill A Mockingbird of these and to be honest, I wouldn’t have read it if I’d not had to do it for GCSE English!

I can understand. It’s a hard subject. Plus, being British, the history probably doesn’t interest you as much as it would someone from the US. 🙂
Oh, man. I remember reading Where Are the Children. That was a one sitting read for me!
I read it very quickly too. I think in two or three, which was unheard of for me back then. 😀
My answers would be the same as on Bookstagram, so I’m just going to say I’m happy to have found your blog! 😊
Thanks! I’m glad you like my blog so much! 😀
You have great taste in books! Why do I say that? Because you have at least two of my favorite books on your list.
Thanks for stopping by my post last week; sorry for the delay in visiting you.
Thanks, Pam! 😀 I’m glad we have the same tastes. It’s always nice to find someone who likes the same books.
