Top Ten Tuesday #3

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Books with Names in the Title

I’m not going to lie. This prompt stumped me a little bit. It’s obvious it means books like Harry Potter. The only problem is have I read any books recently with names in the title or are they all 15+ years old? Here are my top ten books with names in the title:

I think the most recent book on my list is MY LADY JANE as I still haven’t read the other two in the companion series. I also haven’t read any of the other books in The Lunar Chronicles yet.

What about you? Which books with names in the title are on your list? Do we have any in common?

I’ve been learning in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) that life is full of dialectics, or two opposing truths. In this case, the two opposing truths are: 1) I don’t agree with JKR’s stance regarding trans people, and 2) I still love Harry Potter.

I’ve heard that Scarlet seems to be everyone’s favorite. I’m excited to read the rest of the series. I just need to actually do it, lol. So little time and so many books.

That’s so exciting! I loved Finnikin of the Rock so much! I haven’t read any of the other books in series. I’m not sure I’m going either, but I loved his book. I hope you love it just as much as I did!

Ha! I had to use Goodreads to help me think of these books. I can never remember titles or characters unless I see covers or something on Goodreads. My brain doesn’t work as well as it used to, ever since I started taking some of my mental health meds.

Harry Potter may not be on everyone’s minds that much anymore, even though readers still love the story.

What Alice Forgot is the best one! You need to read it!

Ooo! Anna and the French Kiss! I have been wanting to read that one for awhile now. I have heard great things about My Lady Jane, another one I would like to read at some point. I really liked Cinder and am not sure why I haven’t read the rest of the series. I love the Harry Potter books. This is a great list! Thank you for sharing!

I’m glad you liked my list. 🙂 I hope you like Anna and My Lady Jane when you get to them. Maybe you and I will finally read the next installment of The Lunar Chronicles this year, lol.
