This week’s prompt is “Bookish Characters.” This seems easy, except I think we’re supposed to choose a category of character, like favorite readers, librarians, professors, etc. At least that’s what I’m understanding from the instructions. Here are my top ten favorite bookworms:

What about you? Which bookish characters are on your list this week?
I’ve been learning in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) that life is full of dialectics, or two opposing truths. In this case, the two opposing truths are: 1) I don’t agree with JKR’s stance regarding trans people, and 2) I still love Harry Potter.

I like this list. I especially liked Fangirl, I thought it did a good job of evoking those feelings of starting college, especially if you’re an introvert.
I think it works for a shy extrovert too. 🙂 That’s how it was for me, anyway.
Liesel is getting a lot of love today. It’s great!
I haven’t done my rounds yet. I’m so glad she is. She’s one of my favorite book characters. 🙂

Hermione is the perfect choice for this! I’ve read Fangirl as well, but I always forget that Cath is a bookworm. My memories of that book focus more on her friendship with Reagan.

I did love Cath’s friendship with Reagan and her relationship with Levi. That’s definitely what stuck out the most to me too. I almost can’t help notice her relationship with books because of Baz and Simon. 😀
