Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Today’s topic is “Ten Books That Have Been On My TBR the Longest and I Still Haven’t Read.” Oh my gosh! There are so many books to choose from for this week’s post, lol. Here’s my list:

What books have been on your TBR for the longest and you still haven’t read?

I’ve read the Vampire Academy series and really enjoyed it. Richelle Mead’s Bloodlines series is also very good. I’d like to read Poison Study and Mistborn as well. Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.

You know, I was feeling bad looking at Kami’s list because a lot of hers have been on my tbr list forever and now I’m even more depressed. Lots of yours are on my list too and none of yours are on Kami’s. That’s like double the books! I’m not even going to get on Goodreads and look at all the books on my tbr list. I wish I could read a lot faster!

I’ve read The Iron King. Talked about that one a week or two ago and how I couldn’t remember much about it. I’ve also read Hex Hall and I do remember that I intended to continue that series. Sadly, did not. You’ve got some great ones on your list. I recognize them, but haven’t read them. LOL

I remember you saying that. I had a few series that I meant to finish and never did. It is sad. I plan to finish a few this year finally. Hopefully, I’ll get to them like I want to.

I love the Mistborn series! I’m not really into epic fantasy (or whatever genre Mistborn is), but I love Sanderson’s world-creating. His books are ENORMOUS, though, so I understand the hesitation 🙂

I haven’t read the Poison Study books either, but they sound really good. I keep telling myself I’ll get to the series soon … and then I don’t. Gah. So many books, so little time …

I’ve read a few of those and not read a few! LOL. I wouldn’t even know where to begin if I were to do this list. I have some that have been in the stack for many many years. Many years.

I know what you mean. It was hard enough choosing my list. I knew Mistborn had to be first because my friend Ali has been telling me to read it forever. Other than that, I just looked at my TBR and picked ones that have been on there for a long time, lol.
