Top Ten Tuesday #44

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Books on My Summer 2024 TBR

Since I didn’t participate in the Top Ten Tuesday topic for my summer TBR, I’ve decided that’s what I’d do for this week’s freebie topic. I’m a huge mood reader so I might plan to read specific books because they fit a challenge, they’re for book club, or I just want to read them. If I’m not in the mood, though, there’s no amount of obligation that can force me to read a book. With that being said, here are ten books I’d like to read this summer, mood permitting:

What about you? Which books are on your Summer 2024 TBR? Do we have any in common?

I am interested in those top two. I’m working on BC books and the latest Robert Galbraith Cormoran Strike mystery (1,000 pages!) Like you, I don’t agree with Rowling on many issues, but I do enjoy her writing.

I started the first Cormoran Strike mystery but didn’t get it done before it was due back to the library. I want to try again sometime. She writes such long books, which is sometimes amazing and other times intimidating, lol.

I’m really excited for A FIRE ENDLESS too. I loved its predecessor, A RIVER ENCHANTED. I’m glad to hear you love the DIVINE RIVALS duology. I’m really excited to read them as well. 😀

I’m a mood reader too, so I understand how sticking to lists can be difficult. I hope you enjoy the ones you decide to read. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!

OOh nice topic choice and picks! I still need to read Iron Flame myself. I was going to wait til closer to the end of the year for that one! I heard it has a killer cliffhanger so I immediately decided to wait! Lol. I’m behind on my Bardugo books too, still need to start that series! Hope you get to read all of these soon!

    Thanks for visiting my TTT!

Thanks, Jessica! 😀 I would wait to read IRON FLAME until closer to the third book’s release but I’m borrowing both books from my friend and don’t want to keep it longer than I should. 😂

Thanks, Lisa! 😀 I’ve heard a lot of great things about THE UNWEDDING and I also know the author so I feel like I kind of have to read it.

I have read Leigh Bardugo before …. her first one Ninth House so I’m a bit curious about Hell Bent. You can vet it for us (lol) and let us know. I hope you enjoy these.
