January 2022 Monthly Wrap-up
January has been a great month. Not only did I start blogging again, I started a new semester of school, and I’ve filled my reading bucket quite full.
I participated in Bout of Books at the beginning of the month, which helped jump start my reading. I finished three books during the event. Because of Bout of Books, I finished reading six books and started a seventh one this month!
My favorite book I read in January was ANXIOUS PEOPLE by Frederik Backman, followed closely by THE MAGNOLIA PALACE by Fiona Davis. I won’t be surprised if ANXIOUS PEOPLE ends up being my favorite book for the year, even though I still have 11 months left to find another one.

February Plans
How did your January go? What are your plans for February?
I loved Rock Paper Scissors! Hope you enjoy it if you get to it!
Thanks! I hope I get to it, too! 🙂 I’m going to try really hard, lol.
I’m glad you had such a great month in January! You definitely perked mine up by starting up your blog again. It’s always fun to check in with you and see what you’re up to.
I really liked ANXIOUS PEOPLE as well. I found it super confusing at first, but once I got into it, it became a really touching, engrossing, and even a funny read for me. I need to read more by Backman.

Thank you! I’m glad I could help your January be happy too! 😀 I always look forward to reading your blog as well! I hope your move is going well!
I need to read more of Backman’s books too. I wasn’t sure I’d like ANXIOUS PEOPLE, but since I adored it, I’ll have to give his other books a try.
Nice reading month! I thought about adding a February Plans section in my monthly wrap up, but I don’t know. I’m such a mood reader, and it will mostly likely change.
I understand. I’m a mood reader too. I don’t know if I’ll get to all of these and if I’ll actually read these. I still have the section to mostly help me remember for the challenges I’m participating in. 🤞🏻
I’m glad to hear that your January went well! 🙂 I hope you enjoy reading To All the Boys this month, it was one of my favorite contemporary reads in high school.

Thank you! I hope so too. I’ve heard such good things about it and I’ve been waiting to watch the Netflix show until after I read the book. 😀
Awesome job!
Thanks! 😀
I’ve been enjoying allthe Narnia I’ve seen people reading throughout January. The Feeney and LAwson books both look good.
To answer your question on my blog- my Star Trek watch a thon at the moment is just the Original Series. I bought the Blu- rays a while back and that got me going. 🙂
It’s fun to read what everyone’s saying about the Narniad, isn’t it? I’m really enjoying being a part of the Narniathon21.
That sounds like fun. I love doing Star Trek and Star Wars watch-a-thons. 🙂
Yes it is! If I wasn’t so busy I would have jumped into the Narnaithon. I need to re- read those books, it’s been years.
I understand. 🙂
