My Thoughts

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed THE SHORT SECOND LIFE OF BREE TANNER, a little spin-off of ECLIPSE. I really liked Bree Tanner and learning about her backstory. I felt bad that Jane wouldn’t let her live because I think she would’ve chosen to live like the Cullens. Witnessing her transformation to a vampire and being part of the Victoria’s army helped give purpose and feeling to all the other vampires in the army as they’re no longer nameless characters. I enjoyed the change in perspective, which is something you don’t get a lot of in the main series. My favorite thing about this story was getting to witness the fight between the newborns and the Cullens.
