My Thoughts

STUCK WITH YOU is my least favorite of the STEMinist Novellas. Normally, instalove doesn’t bother me, but I couldn’t get over part of the premise. I liked the idea of them being stuck in the elevator together so they could air out their grievances, but Erik’s thoughts on why Sadie was mad at him was just too much for me.

I did like Sadie and Erik’s chemistry, and I think I might’ve liked this one better had it been a fully fleshed out novel.

My Thoughts

I read the STEMinist Novellas out of order and started with the third one first. Thankfully, you can read these in any order.

I loved BELOW ZERO and I was worried I wouldn’t enjoy UNDER ONE ROOF as much, but I did. I loved both Liam and Mara. I loved the forced proximity trope, their chemistry, and banter. It was a fun read. I still want more! (This is why I don’t read short stories very often.)

My Thoughts

I want more! I loved Hannah and Ian, and their story. I loved the setting and the idea of him rescuing her. I wish there was more to their story and relationship. Since this was a short story, Hazelwood did a great job of sharing the most important parts.

Also, I didn’t realize BELOW ZERO was the third book in a novella series until after I read it. Hopefully, they can be read out of order.

My Thoughts

I was worried I wouldn’t enjoy BOSS WITCH as much as WITCH PLEASE because I didn’t like Clem very much in Danica’s story. However, once I was in Clem’s head and understood why she did the things she did, I couldn’t help liking her and even empathizing with her. I also really liked Gavin and I loved the chemistry between him and Clem. (I didn’t like how the narrator voiced Gavin. The voice was too gravelly.)

I loved seeing more of the witch world and their politics. It made for an interesting, spicy, fun read. I’m glad I decided to give this a chance. I’ll probably read the next installment as well some time.

My Thoughts

THE BLONDE IDENTITY was such a fun fast-paced fade-to-black romance. I loved both Zoe and Sawyer, their chemistry, and banter.

I loved the premise of Zoe being the non-espionage twin targeted by iffy governments and groups all while trying to get her memory back. It was action-packed with never a dull moment. The story felt like a funnier and rom-comier version of THE BLONDE IDENTITY.

I’m excited to stay in this world and read Alex’s story once THE BLONDE WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD releases later this year.
