My Thoughts

I basically read WITCH PLEASE in one sitting because I loved it so much. I loved the characters, especially Danica and Titus. Their chemistry was instant and the sexual tension between them was amazing and leaves you wanting for more, creating a cute, fast-paced steamy romance. I loved the setting and the small town feel. The description of the people, shops, and scenery had me ready to book a plane ticket so I could experience it first hand. And, thanks to the descriptions of all the pastries in Titus’ bakery, I’m craving cinnamon rolls and gingersnaps now!

I especially loved the lit bit magic and wish there had been a bit more. I loved the concept of witches and how their magic works. I would love to learn more about them.

My Thoughts

I absolutely adored THIS SPELLS LOVE and zipped right through it because I couldn’t put it down. It hooked me right from the beginning and has left me thinking about the characters and their relationships. Robb’s execution of the friends-to-lovers trope was excellently written, producing a steamy fast-paced romance. The sexual tension between Gemma and Dax is amazing and leaves you wanting for more.

I adored everything about the story. I loved Gemma Wilde, her sister, kooky aunt, and her best friend Daxon McGuire. I loved the setting of Hamilton, Canada, just outside Toronto. The description of the people, shops, pubs, curling lanes, and the waterfront of Lake Ontario had me ready to book a plane ticket so I could experience it first hand. I also loved the lit bit of paranormal, in the form of a love-cleansing spell. It was fun to see it flip Gemma’s world on its head, causing her to figure out what was truly important to her.

My Thoughts

I was a little bit hesitant read IN A HOLIDAZE because I’m not much of a Christmas or holiday book reader. I really glad I read it because I adored practically everything about it. I zipped right through it and it helped remind me why I love to read romance. Friends-to-lovers is hands down my favorite romantic trope and the execution was excellently written, producing a bit of a steamy fast-paced romance.

I thought the Groundhog Day-esque “magic” was a lot of fun. I loved Maelyn Jones and her family, blood and found. I loved reading about their Christmas traditions in their cabin near Park City. It was especially fun to picture the mountains, snow, Christmas decorations, and the touristy beauty of my home state.

My Thoughts

SOME OF IT WAS REAL is a a heart-wrenching story that asks the reader to believe in something unseen. It’s also about love, acceptance, and truth. The execution of the enemies-to-lovers trope was excellently written, producing a spicy slow-burn romance. Sylvie and Thomas’ constant worry of out-smarting the other while falling in love was a treat to read, and the cat and mouse game dynamic made the story fun and exciting. My only gripe is that the ending wasn’t quite as satisfying as I wanted it to be. I wanted a more solid resolution for Sylvie and Thomas’ relationship.

I also loved the inclusion of Sylvie’s beloved service dog, Moose. Even though as a Great Dane he comes across as a bit scary, he’s a lovable teddy bear. Thomas’ cat, Christopher Robin, reminded me of my Daxi-cat, who recently passed away due to old age. I loved Chris’ demeanor and her interactions with Moose. Each pet was written as a beloved companion, endearing me more to the two main characters and making a much richer story.
