My Thoughts

I’m honestly not sure how I feel about TOMORROW, AND TOMORROW, AND TOMORROW. There are aspects I loved and others I didn’t. Even though the story was slow, I felt compelled to keep reading. I loved how well the story shows the evolution of relationships—how they can grow stronger, become weaker, or break under life’s pressures. I also loved that this story showed that life is a matter of perspective and communication. I loved the look at grief and how individual it is. I’m not sure I cared for Sam or Sadie very much. They often seemed selfish, especially when it came to their games, success, and each other.

My Thoughts

I really enjoyed reading ONE & ONLY. It was a fun romance with a little bit of magic. I liked the Korean American culture and the characters. At first, I wasn’t too fond of Cassia’s choice, but he grew on me and I’m happy they ended up together. I liked the aspect of still having a choice even when “fate” is involved.

My Thoughts

I really enjoyed reading THE LAST ANNIVERSARY. I loved the family drama and mystery. Liane Moriarty does a great job of writing about family dysfunction, sometimes with lovable characters and sometimes not. I think her stories are always very intriguing.

I really liked Rose, Sophie, and Grace. I felt for both Rose and Grace (as well as Enigma and Laura) with each of them suffering through postpartum depression. I’m especially glad Grace got help in the end. I’m sad she pushed Callum into Sophie because now all three of them have unresolved feelings, but I think things are looking up. Hopefully, they all can have a good life despite what happened. I figured out the reveal with Jack and Alice, but I thought the other reveal regarding the breadboard murder was such a great ending.

I didn’t like the audiobook narrator very much. She was okay when she voiced some of the characters, but her Veronica was super annoying and I cringed each time she spoke.

My Thoughts

I absolutely adored FUNNY STORY! Emily Henry is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. I loved both Daphne and Miles, their friendship, chemistry, and even their personal issues. They had so much heart. I really cared for both of them and especially about what they’d gone through in their lives. I’m so glad they both got out of the awful relationships they were in and found something so much better.

My Thoughts

I really enjoyed RINGS OF FATE. I thought it was a fun romantasy. I loved the magic system and the settings of the four kingdoms on the verge of war. I really liked Aren and Dietan, their banter, and sexual tension. The slow-burn romance was satisfying to read. I’m excited to see what happens in the next installment. Fortunately, this one ended in a way that I don’t feel like I’m going to die waiting for the next book. I didn’t mind the audiobook, but I didn’t really like the male narrator very much (too gravelly).
