Title: The Memo
Author: Rachel Dodes, Lauren Mechling
Genre: Speculative Fiction
Format: Audio
Pages: 336
Length: 9h 22m
Narrator: Anna Caputo
Rating:
My Thoughts Despite being disappointed that THE MEMO isn’t a romance (the audiobook was categorized improperly at my library), I thought this story and the execution were interesting. I also like the hopeful and open ending. The story reminded me of THE MIDNIGHT LIBRARY, just much less profound.
Title: A Killing Cold
Author: Kate Alice Marshall
Genre: Thriller
Format: Hard Cover
Pages: 304
Rating:
My Thoughts I really enjoyed A KILLING COLD. It was suspenseful and the cast of characters made for an intriguing tale. I loved the setting and the unraveling of the story one thread at a time. The ending was a bit disappointing because I needed more comeuppance but it didn’t ruin the book for me.

My Thoughts HELLO BEAUTIFUL is a touching story about love, loss, depression, betrayal, forgiveness, and second chances. This book will definitely give my […]

My Thoughts I was worried I wouldn’t enjoy BOSS WITCH as much as WITCH PLEASE because I didn’t like Clem very much in Danica’s story. However, once I was in Clem’s head and understood why she did the things she did, I couldn’t help liking her and even empathizing with her. I also really liked […]

My Thoughts Holy crap! That ending! Why do I read these series before all the books are out?! It’s going to be torture waiting for the next book. I feel like I did after watching Avengers: Infinity War for the first time–numb, sad, and trying to be hopeful despite the crushing weight of grief. So […]
