Bout of Books 36 Signup
I’ve decided to join the Bout of Books readathon from January 2nd to 8th. Since I start school on the 9th, I decided that Bout of Books would be a great way to jump start my reading for 2023.
For those of you who don’t know what Bout of Books is, here’s the official blurb from the Bout of Books blog:
The Bout of Books readathon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It’s a weeklong readathon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 2nd and runs through Sunday, January 8th in YOUR time zone. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are reading sprints, Twitter chats, and exclusive Instagram challenges, but they’re all completely optional. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to read my Unofficial Trim Challenge book, MISTBORN by Brandon Sanderson, and start my IRL book club book, MY GRANDMOTHER ASKED ME TO TELL YOU SHE’S SORRY by Frederik Backman. I may read some of my January PBT book as well, TASTE: MY LIFE THROUGH FOOD by Stanley Tucci.

I know! 😀 I’m so excited to read MISTBORN. My friend has been trying to get me to read it for more than a decade, lol. I decided it was high-time I did. Ha!

It sounds like fun and I’m tempted but there are a few too many challenges in my life right now. Mainly my elderly mother. I’m hoping to at least finish my Book Club book for January.
I get that. Sometimes real life takes precedence over something like this. I hope everything works out well for your mother and that she can stick around for a while yet. <3
