July 2022 Monthly Wrap-up

This month was pretty much a bust in terms of reading because of moving. I finished the last two books in the Narniad at the very beginning of July. We moved right after I finished both books and I’ve been so preoccupied with unpacking and organizing our place that reading has been put on the back burner. I’ve really missed reading so I have big, lofty plans for August.

I didn’t really have a favorite book this month.

Moving takes so much energy, I’m surprised you read as much as you did! Well done! I hope you enjoy your books for next month. You know I enjoyed Miss Aldridge Regrets, A Dress of Purple Taffeta, and A Thousand Miles. I really think you’ll enjoy Where the Crawdads Sing. It’s one of my all-time favorite books.

Moving and getting settled are enormous tasks! I can’t imagine doing that at my stage of life and admire you for reading and blogging at all.

Moving takes up so much energy! You have some great books lined up for August. The Cover for A Dress of Violet Taffeta looks stunning.

Happy reading in August! Rest up well after Lasik, even if that means a bit of a break 💖
    Take care!

Moving really does! I love the cover for A DRESS OF VIOLET TAFFETA too. It’s one of the reasons I decided to read it, lol. Thanks for the advice. I’ll definitely make sure to rest up after my LASIK tomorrow. 😀

Hope that the move went well! Moving can take so much time and effort so I understand struggling to get reading in while undergoing that process. It’s hard for me to believe that it’s already August! I feel like July flew by.
