March 2022 Monthly Wrap-up

My reading momentum slowed down a little bit this month because I was sick for most of it. At least I read what counted. I finished THE SOUND OF STARS by Alechia Dow, which was one of my picks for Black History Month in February. (Better late than never, right?) I also read my March book club book, my Unofficial Trim book, and the next installment in the Narniad for the Narniathon21. Even though I didn’t get to my Book of the Month book, I still feel like March was a successful reading month.

My favorite book I read in March was FANGIRL by Rainbow Rowell and I guess my least favorite book was THE SILVER CHAIR by CS Lewis.

The Sound of Stars has such a stunning cover, and I loved Fangirl. I didn’t care for Dread Nation, but a lot of people I’ve seen loved it. Stalking Jack the Ripper is on my TBR to read eventually too. March was a busy month for me, but it felt like it just flew by. I have a high TBR for April, hoping to get it done.

I really like the cover too. I especially like the colors. Even though I was sick for most of the month, I agree that March flew by. I hope you can read all your books in your TBR for April too! Good luck! 😀

Sorry March was up and down for you. Hopefully, April will be better. 🤞🏻 I’m feeling better, but we’re not exactly sure why I was so sick, which is frustrating.

I still need to read ELEANOR & PARK. I’ve heard it’s really good. I’ve read ATTACHMENTS and LANDLINE, so my next read will be E&P. 😀

Well done on still reading four books while you have been unwell in March. I am sorry to hear The Silver Chair was your least favourite read of the month – I love Narnia but must admit that is not one of my favourites to be fair. My reading has continued to be slow and I only finishing two books in March, although I did have six books on the go altogether, so I can’t complain really! 😅 My favourite of those was the beautifully written historical-romance, The Garment by Catherine Cookson.

I still really enjoyed The Silver Chair. I just liked the other books I read in March better so that’s why it was my least favorite. The Garment sounds really good. I’m going to add it to my TBR.
