Top Ten Tuesday #42

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Favorite Books of 2023

Even though I didn’t read very much last year, I’m still really excited for today’s prompt. I always love sharing my favorite reads from the previous year. I’ve decided to exclude any rereads from my list. Here are my top ten eight favorite books from 2023:

  1. Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune
  2. Radical Love by Zachary Levi
  3. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E Smith
  4. The Only Girl in Town by Ally Condie
  5. The Measure by Nikki Erlick
  6. Building a Life Worth Living by Marsha M. Linehan
  7. Atomic Habits by James Clear
  8. The It Girl by Ruth Ware

What about you? Which books were your favorite reads from 2023? Do we have any in common?

Thanks, Cheryl! 😀 I’m glad you loved ATOMIC HABITS so much. I’d love to reread it again. THE ONLY GIRL IN TOWN’s really good. I has a good message. 😀

ATOMIC HABITS has such great ideas and I love his ideas to implement what he talks about. I’m glad it has made a huge difference in your life. I want to reread it with a physical copy (I read the aduiobook) so I can take notes. 😀

Great list! I’d always seen Atomic Habits on the shelf and never thought much of it cos I don’t read non-fiction books. But then I saw someone review it the other day and I realised that I had no idea what it was about but it sounded great. I’m excited to try that one this year (hopefully, lol) 😃 I hope you have an amazing year of reading in 2024!

I totally understand. I normally don’t read non-fiction either. This past year was quite strange for me to read not only one but three, lol. If you do read ATOMIC HABITS, I hope you enjoy it. 😀

It really is. I think it’s because it’s the beginning of a new year and works with people’s resolutions. It really does have a lot of great ideas so it’s worth the read. 😀

The Measure was terrific! I guess I forgot to include it on my own favorites list (oops), but it was such a good story, with so much food for thought. It still comes up in conversation, even months after reading it!

It really was. It made me think the most out of all the others one I read. I still think of it, yes. I’m planning to suggest it to my book club this year. 😀

That’s awesome! I really loved his ideas. I listened to the audiobook. I want to reread the physical book so I can take notes to help better implement his ideas. 😀
