October 2022 Monthly Wrap-up

I only read two books in October via audiobook. I had a hard time actually picking up books to read even though I had a few lined up. November will probably not be a very productive month in regards to reading either because I’m participating in NaNoWriMo and my focus will be on writing.

Since I finished listening to the Harry Potter audiobooks in September, I decided to start the Twilight Saga audiobooks this month. I finished TWILIGHT in the middle of the month and NEW MOON on Halloween.

I learned in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) that life is full of dialectics, or two opposing truths. In this case, the two opposing truths are: 1) I don’t agree with JKR’s stance regarding trans people, and 2) I still love Harry Potter.

I’m so excited for you that you’re doing Nanowrimo, I hope you enjoy it and don’t let it stress you too much. Have a great week, Jenni!

I struggled through a book I didn’t like much in a series that I generally do enjoy. Now I’m reading a new mystery with a very similar plot. Ugh. I have a grandson coming in the next month so my reading will probably suffer. 🙂

Struggling with books where you’ve enjoyed the rest of the series is so hard. You have to decide if the over-arching storyline is more important that the line. 😀

Enjoy your books this month and NaNoWriMo. Any reading is better than nothing, I read 3 in October and I’m ok with that. I want to read Love on the Brain, such a cute cover!

Thanks, Sophia! 😀 Mostly it was due to the pain in my arm and what it did to dampen my mood. It also was my PTSD therapy too. I think I’m coming out of it, though. Good luck with your reading in November!
