Top Ten Tuesday #9
Books on My Spring 2022 TBR
This week’s prompt is hard for me because I’m a mood reader. I might plan to read specific books because either they fit a challenge, they’re for book club, or I just want to read them. The problem is if I’m not in the mood, there’s no amount of obligation that can force me to read a book. With that being said, here are ten books I’d like to read this spring, mood permitting:
The first eight of these 10 are books I haven’t read yet and ones I really want to read. The last two Harry Potter books are on this list because I started a reread of the series in 2020 when I read the illustrated editions of the first four. Last year, I read Order of the Phoenix and I didn’t read the last two because last year wasn’t a good reading year. This year, I hope to read Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows so I can complete my three-year reread.
What about you? Which books are on your Spring 2022 TBR? Do we have any in common?
I’ve seen so many good things about Love Hypothesis. Enjoy your reread of Harry.
I have too. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. 🙂 Thanks, I’m excited to get to these last two books. They’re among my favorites of the series.
I read Love Hypothesis just a month or so ago and really liked it — hope you do too! And I love Fangirl!! I still need to read Dread Nation… and funny about Harry Potter, I started a re-read of the series a couple of years ago and seem to have stopped (unintentionally) after book 5 as well. Hope you enjoy your spring reading!
That makes me so happy to hear that you enjoyed The Love Hypothesis and that you love Fangirl! 😀 And, how funny that we’ve basically done the same thing with Harry Potter, lol.
I loved FANGIRL when I read it several years ago. I hope you find it similarly inspiring.
Awesome! I’ve always heard such great things about it. I’ve just never got around to reading it. I’m very excited to finally read it. 😀
I hear ya! I’m a big mood reader, too, so I rarely stick to any of the TBR lists I make. It’s still fun to create them, though! I like thinking about what I MIGHT want to read even if I never actually do it. Ha ha.
Happy TTT!

Ha ha! That’s exactly how I feel too. 😀
I make lists for fun, but rarely follow them! If I have a requested book or library book I might make sure to follow a list, sort of, but I’m a big mood reader. I’ve heard good things about Dread Nation, and what a cover!
Making lists is fun, even if we don’t follow them. 😀 And, I agree. The Dread Nation cover is gorgeous!
I’m the same way. I can not plan my reading at all! It’s been so much better since stepping away from arc’s and schedules.
I do kind of have 3-ish books in mind (all different formats) at any given time and see what happens lol

Completely makes sense. I usually have my book club book and my challenge books planned, but I won’t read them if I’m not feeling it. That way I don’t put myself in a slump. 😀
I have my eye on some of these. Others are new to me so I will look them up. I don’t make TBR lists for the same reason. The moment I have to read a book is the moment I don’t want too
Exactly. I didn’t read assigned books in school because I don’t like being forced to read something. I don’t mind being asked to review a book, but if it has a deadline, no way am I touching it with a 10-foot pole.
I enjoyed The Love Hypothesis, and Dating Dr. Dil. It’s been years since I read the Harrry Potter books, but I did enjoy them. Happy Reading..
I’m excited to read both of these. I think I’ll like them a lot. 🙂
