Top Ten Tuesday #21

Books with a Unit of Time in the Title
I’m not going to lie. This prompt stumped me a little bit. No books came immediately to my mind. I had to use my Excel spreadsheet with my 1200+ TBR for help. Here are my top ten eight books with a unit of time in the title:
Books I’ve Read

Books on My TBR

What about you? Which books made your list this week? Do we have any in common?
Another collection of books on time that I haven’t read any of. There are sooo many books with time. It’s a huge favorite of mine.
Happy TTT!

Today’s list is definitely showing me all the books with time that I either didn’t think of or I haven’t heard of. 😀 I do like time travel and dual timelines. Most of those don’t have unit of time words in the title, though.
I didn’t take part in this meme but it seems like a fun project.
I don’t blame you. 😀 It was a hard one and I don’t think I’m the only one who found it hard, lol.
Great top 8. Same as you, this week’s prompt stumped me and took me some adjusting to produce a decent list of titles I read or I’m planning on reading. And you did a great job with your list.

Have a great week 🌈
I’m glad I’m not the only one who struggled with it. 😀 I look forward to reading your list!
I’m glad everyone struggled with this one, I thought it was hard! Here’s mine: https://susanlynknits.com/2022/06/07/top-ten-tuesday-books-with-a-unit-of-time-in-the-title/
It’s nice to be validated, isn’t it? Lol. I look forward to seeing your list.
I like your inclusion of some less obvious time words like eternity and forever.
Thanks, Deb! 😀 I thought it would be fun to include those more obscure references of time.
It was a hard one this week but great list.

It really was, lol. Thanks, though! 😀
That’s more than I could come up with!! Great job.
Lol. That happens sometimes. I look forward to reading your list, even if it’s short.
The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish looks like a great read for sure.
My post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-book-with-a-unit-of-time-in-the-title/
It was a really fun picture book. It was my first introduction to Neil Gaiman. 🙂
I guess I don’t read many books with units of time in the title. In fact, I can only think of “19 Minutes” which I hated and am trying to forget.
Lol. I don’t really either. I looked through every book I’ve read and only found the four. And, then I looked through my TBR and found the other four. There are probably more, but these are the only ones my search produced.
I love this list. I need to read Isla and the Happily Ever After and The Trurth About Forever. Great list!
Thanks so much, Steph! 😀 I really enjoyed Isla. It was really good. I’d also really love to read The Truth about Forever. Someday, lol.
Oh, Isla and the Happily Ever After is a great pick – I really enjoyed that book!
It’s such a great book, isn’t it? I loved that trio of books. Stephanie Perkins is one of my favorite YA authors.
I loved The Artemis Fowl books when I was younger, and The Eternity Code was one of my favourites.
My TTT: https://jjbookblog.wordpress.com/2022/06/07/top-ten-tuesday-371/
That’s cool. 🙂 I’ve read the first two and I really enjoyed them. I need to finish the series.
This prompt was a bit hard. I love that you found so many books with forever and eternity in the title. I never would have thought of using those. Thanks for commenting on my blog earlier. 🙂
It seems like forever and eternity are the only unit of time words I read, lol. I guess I do have a couple of others, but maybe it’s because forever and eternity signal an HEA and I love HEAs.
Great picks, Jenni! I love that you’ve shared titles that I’ve not seen anywhere else today. 🙂
Thanks, Tanya! I’m glad my list is original. 😀
Split second I remember from when I first started blogging. Never did read it. Forever is a great choice too. Remember when those books were EVERYWHERE? I mean, they’re still popular, but I remember when they ruled the YA book blog world lol.
Yes, Split Second and Shiver and its sequels dominated (especially Shiver) the book blogging world for a really long time. Man, that brings back memories. Those were the glory days of blogging. Although, I really like the book blogging community the way it is now. Everyone is so reciprocal. Back then, the bigger blogs never commented on other blogs and that always bugged me.
Exactly. Those WERE the glory days but at the same time I agree- it’s nicer now? A little more relaxed?
Yes, a lot more relaxed, I think. (Sorry it took me so long to respond. I came down with COVID. 🤒🤧😷)
I love that you got Isla in, too! And I don’t blame you for only reaching 8–I found 5 hard today!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who found it hard, lol. 😀
Smart! I didn’t think of using things like Eternity or Forever!
Thanks! I thought the same thing about a few words that others used when I went blog hopping too, mostly the names of days of the week and months. I didn’t even think of those, lol.
You did great!! I totally read Forever and didn’t even include it! haha. Isla is also a great pick but I haven’t read that one yet!
Thanks, Leslie! 😀 I understand. I had to divide mine up because I didn’t have enough books I’ve read so it worked out to have books on my TBR.
Well done! I think this challenge is easier for some Genre’s. I had a bit of a tough time with it too. Science fiction would have a lot of time titles I would think.
I was kind of thinking the same thing. I think sci-fi, thrillers, and maybe erotica. I saw a lot of lists with thrillers and erotica today where the blogger didn’t seem to have any trouble with today’s prompt.
You are not alone, it stumped me too! Interesting list!
Thanks, Cindy! 😀 It’s always good to find that we’re not alone, isn’t it?
Same! I was really struggling to come up with any titles until it dawned on me that I could just search my TBR lists on Goodreads. Easy peasy.
SPLIT SECOND is the only book I’ve read from your list. Kasie West’s books are so fun, but man, it’s hard to keep up with authors who publish as much as she does. Not that I’m complaining! I wish all my favorite authors published that often.
Happy TTT!

Lol. That makes me laugh that after you started searching Goodreads it became easy peasy. It still wasn’t easy peasy for me. I must not read or want to read a lot of books with units of time in the title. Ha!
And, yes, Kasie West, Kiersten White, Sarah J. Maas, and Cassandra Clare all publish books so fast that I can’t keep up with them. It’s a good problem to have, though. I’d rather have too many books to read than not enough.
Hope you get to read some on your TBR.

Thanks, Sarita! 😀
Fun choices… but what I really love is hearing about your Excel spreadsheet! 🙂 I keep those too — for everything really, but they’re essential for all my various reading tracking needs!
That’s cool that you have an excel spreadsheet for your various reading tracking needs. I love mine. I use it in conjunction with Goodreads because GR doesn’t keep track of everything I want it to. Plus, I can sort things the way I want to with Excel. I can go all nerdy, which I’m sure you understand. 😀
Wasn’t that a fun topic this week? I’m always amazed how many different books there are. I didn’t know any of yours. No, that’s wrong, my son has read “Artemis Fowl” and I’ve heard of Neil Gaiman but never read any of his books.
Thanks for visiting my TTT this week.
Yes, it always amazes me how many books there are and how many of them I don’t know about. 😀 (Sorry it took me so long to respond. I came down with COVID. 🤒🤧😷)
