This weekend has been a lot of fun. On Friday, my friend Meagan came over and played games with me because James, her husband, had to work until about 10:30. It was fun to have her over.

On Saturday, I went shopping for new clothes. I needed some pants for work. I went to Ross and I bought three shirts, three pairs of pants, a pair of shoes, and some trouser socks for $60! Normally, I hate shopping because it’s such a frustrating experience. I usually can’t find anything in my size and the things I do find in my size are usually way expensive. Needless to say, I was ecstatic with yesterday’s shopping experience and I’ve found my new favorite store.

I also went to a Twilight get-together on Saturday evening. We did a potluck with lots of yummy soups and salads, gave white elephant gifts (which turned out to be really funny), and we got to know each other better. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know these women who share the same obsession as me. We had a lot of fun!

We’ve gone to the dark side and finally switched to the family ward. Today was our first time in our new ward. Everyone was really nice and welcoming, which was really helpful. We know a lot of the families because they used to go to the student ward like we did. The best is that we’re in the same ward as my niece’s sister-in-law. It’ll be great to get to know Rachel and her husband a little better since Corey and I adore Dave, my nephew-in-law and Rachel’s brother.

We’re glad that the family ward was nice to you. We threatened them before-hand (j/k). Congrats on good shopping karma–I am not a fan of it anymore, but maybe I’ll have to rediscover Ross!
Your blog is so cute! I love it. You are one funny girl. I had so much fun on Friday. I can’t wait to see you all again.
yay for good shopping, having fun with twilight fans, and going to the family ward. At least you can make me smile half way across the country… Do you happen to know how much I miss you?

What a fun blog! I just started a blog today after looking at everyone’s when I get it all figured out I’ll have to invite you to come see it! I had so much fun on Saturday night too! I seriously think it’s adorable the way you blush in 20 different shades of red! I’m looking forward to many more get togethers! Name the day and we can totally do chick flick night again!
Welcome to the family ward. Hopefully we will be able to see you there soon, we’ve missed the past few weeks [sick boys]. I hope they call Cory as our home teacher or as my home teaching companion. If you are lucky maybe you can work with Amy in the primary.
That was such a fun night! What a great blog!
