Twilight-Inspired Foxtrot Comic

On Sunday, Foxtrot featured a comic that mentioned Twilight.  I thought it was rather funny because of what I said in the post Another Change about how my view of vampires has changed.

About Jenni Elyse

I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching movies and TV, playing any type of game (especially anything related to Zelda and Mario), aimlessly surfing the Internet, crocheting, knitting, playing the piano, and hanging out with my husband, cats, and friends. Check my About Me page for more details.

and jenni, i have been limiting my “blog checking” to once a week, so i just read your news about froyo. sad! i hope you guys can keep you chins up during this hard time. i wish the best for you.

It’s interesting that she could change something so iconic isn’t it? (Is that even the right word I’m looking for?)

  6. Jenni Elyse says:

Rachel, thanks for the vote of confidence. Corey and I are handling it fairly well. I also understand about only checking blogs once a week. I do that with private blogs. All the other blogs I read are set up with an RSS feed. Otherwise, I’d be checking blogs constantly!

Debbie, I think iconic is the perfect word to describe it. I agree that it’s so interesting that views of vampires have changed due to the lore Stephenie Meyer created. I’ve noticed that a lot of authors have their own lore based on the original and I find it interesting when something deviates from the norm.

  7. Jared says:

I agree with the kid in the comic.

  8. Jenni Elyse says:

    Of course you do! ;)

  9. Sarah says:

I love it! My view has also been completely changed. ;)

  10. LeAnn says:

I thought of you when I read that comic strip. Too funny that you posted it on your blog.
