Tagged by Leah Marie

I was tagged last week by my friend Leah Marie, but I forgot to do it.  I’m repenting and doing it now!

The rules of this tag are as follows:

  1. Link to the person who tagged you.
  2. Share seven things about you that people may not know already.
  3. Tag seven people to share seven things about themselves.

I love tags and I love sharing things about myself.  However, this one’s going to be difficult, even though it’s just seven things, because I’ve already shared so much on my blog.  I’ll try not to repeat.

  1. This is the first time I’ve ever been consistent about losing weight.  I’ve gone on “diets” before, but I always stopped doing them about a week after.  I’ve been living my healthy lifestyle for nine weeks now and I’ve lost 13 pounds!
  2. I’ve never read more than one book at a time.  I think it’s cool that people can read different books at a time, but I just can’t.  I like to concentrate on one story.
  3. I went to three different elementary schools, two of them during the fifth grade.  I also went to three different middle schools.
  4. I’ve been put out by anesthesia three times.  The first time was to have my wisdom teeth removed.  The second was for a medical D and C.  And, the third was for sinus surgery.
  5. I’ve never listened to a book on tape/CD before.  I tried to listen to The Book of Mormon once, but my mind wanders a lot so I have a hard time concentrating if I’m not doing the actual reading. (Heck, sometimes I have trouble when I’m reading too.)  However, I’m going to try to listen to the Harry Potter series and the Twilight Saga since I know them so well.
  6. I used to listen to Garth Brooks, Blackhawk, and Tim McGraw.  Now, I can’t stand country and wonder what I ever “heard” in the music.  (Although, I’ll admit, I do still like one song by Blackhawk–”Goodbye Says It All”–probably because it’s more pop than country and it has good harmony.)
  7. I like to draw, but I’m not very good at it.  I can look at cartoon-type drawings and copy them really well, but I’m not creative enough to come up with my own designs.  When I was about 14 years old, I drew a picture of Belle from Beauty and the Beast from a picture of her on a kid’s cup.  I could never get her face right.  I still have the drawing and it’s still faceless.

I tag Amber, Ashley, Debbie, Christie, Jen, Kayla, and Meagan.

About Jenni Elyse

I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching movies and TV, playing any type of game (especially anything related to Zelda and Mario), aimlessly surfing the Internet, crocheting, knitting, playing the piano, and hanging out with my husband, cats, and friends. Check my About Me page for more details.

  1. Debbie says:

That is pretty good at not repeating anything. I actually didnt know some of that stuff. I used to listen to country too when I was in jr. high and still have a bunch of my old cd’s. I wonder what I’d think about them now.

  2. Jenifer says:

I have to say, I don’t care for country, but I do really like Garth Brooks and Tim McGraw. I HATE, HATE, HATE techno!

  3. Christie says:

I’m the same with country, although i don’t “hate” it. It’s just not my preference. Good luck with your piano practice. I hope it goes well. I wish I had taken the time to cultivate that talent.
