Sundays are Good Days

I love Sundays because they’re so relaxing.  Right now, Corey and I go to church from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, so we get to sleep in a bit, which is nice.  Then, after church, we get to spend the whole day together just doing whatever.

Most of the time, I’ll read, crochet, watch TV, or do something on my computer while Corey works on his computer or watches TV with me.  The cats will usually sleep on the floor in the living room, on Corey’s leg, or on a couch and spend the day with us too.  Lately, since my niece Megan is going to BYU, she’s been coming over and spending the day with us too, which has been a lot of fun.  Sometimes, we’ll even have our friends James and Meagan come over, or we’ll go hang out with our friends Tyler and Ali at their place.  What could be better than that?

The only thing I don’t like about Sunday is that it seems like the day goes by too quickly, and too soon I find myself dreading going back to work the next day.  I don’t dread going back to work because I hate my job; I dread going back to work because I’d rather be home with Corey, reading a book, crocheting, or going to school.

About Jenni Elyse

I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching movies and TV, playing any type of game (especially anything related to Zelda and Mario), aimlessly surfing the Internet, crocheting, knitting, playing the piano, and hanging out with my husband, cats, and friends. I hope you enjoy reading my posts as much as I enjoy writing them. If you want to get to know me better, check out the About Me page. I also blog at Getting Healthy.
