Last Saturday, Corey and I went sailing on Hyrum Dam with his family on his parents’ new sailboat. This is only the second or third time I’ve been sailing. The other times, I went sailing with Corey and his family on his parents’ old sailboat in Bear Lake. His parents sold their old boat quite a few years ago so it had been a long time since any of us had gone. Corey said that it was nice getting back on the water.
I had a lot of fun. I’m more of a speed person so because it wasn’t very windy, I was a little bored at first. But, when the wind picked up a bit, the boat went a little faster. It was fun to sit on the deck and dangle my feet over the edge and let the water splash them. It was also fun (and very tiring) to swim in the lake when the sails were down. I’m looking forward to our next sailing adventure, which hopefully will be sooner rather than later.
That looks SO fun! I’m jealous. I’m glad you had a good time. And I’m sure is was so nice to just do something out of the norm. It always feels special…
Yeah, it was a lot of fun. Corey wants to buy a boat (not sure when we can afford it). When we do, we’ll definitely invite you to go with us some time.

So excited that you guys got to go sailing. I know Corey absolutely loves it. We want to hang out with you guys again sometime. James left Corey a message about that awhile ago, when is good for you guys?
Deon – I’ve actually never heard that song. But, I don’t know very many songs. I’m kind of musically illiterate, except for the music I listen to.
Meagan – Corey and I were just talking about that. We got your message and then got sidetracked with all my family gatherings. Do you want to hang out this weekend?
We had a blast! Addison has asked us everyday since when we are going on Papa’s boat again.
Ugh, sailing makes me sea sick. Glad you had fun though!
Jenifer – I think it’s so funny that Addi loved sailing so much! She was so cute on the boat and in the water. I wished I would got a picture of her!
Becky – It’s one of the things in motion that doesn’t make me sick. I love it! It’s so much fun!
We are going to a family BBQ Saturday at 4:30, but Ryan needs to be in bed by 7 so let me talk to James and maybe we can have you guys over at like 7:30. I’ll let you know.

I talked to James and 7:30 Saturday would work. Can you guys bring your Futurama Bender Head with you so we can watch those if we want?
