I’ve been doing this boot camp thing now for a little over two weeks. I got weighed and measured today, but I wasn’t found wanting. (What movie is that in reference to?) I didn’t lose any inches off my waist this week, but I did lose another 5 pounds. So far, I’ve lost 11 pounds total since starting boot camp!

School starts in less than four weeks. I’m getting excited and nervous. I hope I can figure out a way to work working out into my hectic schedule. I know I won’t be able to keep up with the five-times-a-week boot camp, but I’m going to try to go at least two or three times a week. I don’t want to stop now that I’m in the habit of being more active. Even though I feel like dying each day, I actually feel good. Go figure.
This semester, I’m taking three classes. I’m taking Spanish to finally get my language credit out of the way. (I love learning foreign languages, but I’ve been taking so many languages here and there that I’ve never completed the credit in one language.) I’m also taking an intro to literature class since I never paid attention to literature in school. I thought it might help me become better versed in the literature I need to know to do well in my major. Finally, I’m taking another religion class. I don’t need to take anymore, but I wanted to take a class in between my Spanish and literature class so I signed up for one since there’s always space available.

Thanks for all the feedback regarding whether I should split my book reviews on to a separate blog. For now, I’ve decided to keep my blog in one piece. I think with school starting in a month, I should keep things as simple as possible. I might revisit the idea again in the future.

A Knights Tale of course! Love that movie. Congrats on another 5 lbs! That’s awesome.
That’s funny, I would never have thought you’d need a language credit! But I didn’t realize it had to be in ONE…so I guess that makes sense.
You always impress me with your language skills. Good luck with the new schedule. I know you’ll work it out.
You make me proud, Aymee! That’s one of my favorite movies! I’m glad you got the reference.
Yeah, it’s kind of ironic that I still need to complete my language credit since I’ve already taken so many language classes while in college.
PS–Aymee, you’re going to love tomorrow’s post! I’m so excited!!!
I am a slacker at reading blogs, but it is such a joy whenever I read yours. You are an inspiration to many by improving your life in so many ways! Good for you! Miss you guys but are glad that you are doing well.
Dani – Thanks for the encouragement! I really appreciate it! We miss you too!
Congratulations on the weight loss! I can’t wait to start something up again. I think working out becomes addictive.
Jenifer – I’m not to the addictive stage yet. I hope I get there soon, though, so I want to keep going on my own rather than trying to motivate myself.
you. are. awesome.
and muy beuño on the spanish class. i’ve been trying to brush up my skills via cd, but it’s not coming back to me as easily as i hoped. good luck with school starting up. i found that i could barely get 3 days a week of exercise when i was working and in school. i think you can do it, if you really Want it, because you are just that kind of a person.=)
i’m interested to see what you think of linger. i have mixed feelings.
Rachel – Yeah, I’m worried it will be too much to work, go to school, and exercise, but I’m going to do my darnedest to make it work!
I’m almost half way through the book and I have mixed feelings about it too. I’ll let you know what I think when I’m done.
I love Knight’s Tale! Congratulations on your excellent weight loss, Jenni! That is amazing! Your three classes sound fun. I bet you’ll enjoy your literature class.
Violet – I’m hoping I’ll enjoy my literature class too. I want to be introduced to the classics since i basically ignored them when I was younger!
