Project 365: Week 15

It’s becoming harder and harder to keep this up.  I feel like I have nothing to take a picture of anymore, other than my snails when they’re out and about.  Next time I do this, I really want to do a theme like “365 photos of me” or something.  That way I can see what I wear and how I do my hair for an entire year, and see how much I change in one year.  I think it’d be a lot easier than trying to remember to take a picture of something random.  I’m not giving up, though.  I’ve been doing this for too long to give up. ;) Just bear with me as I go through this slump.

July 10: I thought it would be appropriate to take a picture of where I spend most of my time–on my computer and/or updating my blog. July 11: Corey and I took our cats outside to let them enjoy the sun. Cassanova obviously found something of interest while he was lazying away in the shade.
July 12: Our cats are indoor cats, but when the weather’s nice, Corey and I like to take them outside. Fortunately, the weather has been nice–extremely hot–but nice for the last little bit. Dax especially enjoys her time outside. Whenever she’s in, she sits in front of the door and “screams” to be let out.
July 13: These lilies (?) are in my neighbor’s yard. I thought they were pretty so I decided to capture them in a picture. When Corey saw this picture, he told me they looked almost like they were made out of plastic. July 14: Corey’s first sculpture is nearly complete; he just needs to wax it.  I love how it turned out and how the stone captures the light.  I can’t wait to see what it will look like when it’s waxed.  Here is the stone while he was working on it.
July 15: I’ll never get tired of taking pictures of my snails because I think they’re so cute! July 16: I needed something to take a picture of and I thought this leaf would do.

  1. Ashley – Corey calls the sculpture fire because its shape is supposed to represent flames and the color of the stone.

Aymee – Thanks! Knowing that people enjoy seeing my pictures helps me keep going when I get in slumps. ;)

  2. The day lilies do look like they are plastic. That is how I would like my flower beds too look. Too bad they look like they are getting strangled by the stupid morning glory instead! :) I am super excited to see Corey’s sculpture when it is completed too. He has always been artistic and it makes me super jealous :D

  3. I’m glad to see you saying you won’t give up even while going through a slump, I went through a slump and gave up and now I regret it. You’re doing great! Keep up the good work!
