It looks like there are enough people who are going to join my Pride and Prejudice read-along, so I thought I’d better come up with a schedule so everyone can follow along.
The read-along will start, Sunday, July 1 and go until Saturday, August 4 so that we have five full weeks to get through all 61 chapters.
- Week 1 (July 1 – July 7): Chapters 1-12
- Week 2 (July 8 – July 14): Chapters 13-25
- Week 3 (July 15 – July 21): Chapters 26-38
- Week 4 (July 22 – July 28): Chapters 39-49
- Week 5 (July 29 – August 4): Chapters 50-61
I’ll post discussion questions each Saturday. You can post those questions and your answers on your blog, if you’d like, during the following week until the next set of questions are posted. (I’ll have a linky, so you can link up your blog to the post and have others visit your site. You can also use the image I’ve created for the read-along; just link it back to my site please.) Or, you can answer them in the comments if that’s easier for you. Also, you can read faster or slower than the schedule, but I’ll probably follow this schedule pretty closely. I’ll also post my personal thoughts every few chapters (in a separate post from the discussion questions) along with my answers to the discussion questions. If you’d like to do this, you can as well.

I know, right?! I hope I can through both, lol. I’ll probably start reading Dune sooner rather than later. Although, once I start that, I won’t be able to stop, lol. So, I probably should wait until the read-along starts and just focus on P&P.

No, I’m going to start at the beginning again so I can record my thoughts. I remember what I was thinking the first time. I just need my mind refreshed again.

I was worried the schedule would be too ambitious for me, but that’s perfect – it looks very doable. I’m excited for this (and discussion questions) – great idea with the linking! I just wish there was a blog with a laundry/cleaning dishes challenge, I might be more motivated to get things done around my home
