New Hairdo

I’ve had my hair short for two and a half years now.  About a year ago, I decided to start growing it out even though I didn’t really start the growing-out process until around January.  It’s been and continues to be a long process.

I’ve grown my hair out before so I know I usually get to a point when I want to chop it all off because it becomes so annoying.  I’ve been at this point for the last couple of months.  I feel like my hair’s always so bushy, shaggy, and almost mullet-ish. :| I was going to chop it all off today when my niece Carlee and I discovered my hair was just long enough to start shaping it in an A-line-wedge style.

I really like the style a lot.  I just hope I can keep up with it since I think styling hair is so monotonous!

  1. Whenever I have short hair that I’m trying to grow out, I always hit this stage of limbo where it’s not short enough and not long enough. I guess you just have to wait it out, and make do with cute hair-dos like yours!

  2. It looks awesome! Good luck growing it out, I’m doing the same thing and I want to give in. We can be each others support. But really, it looks so cute and I love the color.

  3. LOVE it! I’m totally going through that right now. I ‘want’ to grow it out, but I love the ease and look of short hair. I think I’m going to give in before we go to Seattle!

  4. your hair is looking good. i covet people with thick hair at least once a day. i am so excited that we didn’t miss your opening while we were vacationing in arizona. can’t wait to hop in and try it out.

  5. Stick with it, Jenni! You’re only about 10 away from being able to come to work with your hair in a sopping wet ponytail and have it look decent-ish. Decent-ish looking hair is the best!
