Last week, Corey and I found out that we get to move at the end of the month. We had a three-year lease on the townhome we’re in and it ended in June. A little bit before June, Corey and our landlord talked about renewing the lease for at least another year, but the terms were never really settled. And then, our landlord called last week to let us know that he didn’t want to extend the lease. And, since we’ve basically been on a month-to-month agreement, we had 30 days to move.
We were hoping that we’d be able to talk him into letting us stay another month to give us more time to find a place to move and to budget deposit/moving costs, but I guess he called today and was very adamant about us being gone by November 1. At this point, we don’t know where we’re going to move. We’re looking and we hope to find a place within our ward boundaries because we I don’t want to leave our bishop just yet and we really like some of our neighbors.

That’s no fun. We’ve been kicked out our a rental before. Good luck finding another place to rent.

If you need help moving let us know. Also if you need help cleaning let us know. We would offer you to stay at our place but you’d only have a floor since our place is so small. But if you really need a place that badly, know that you can always come stay with us.
