When I give a movie a star rating, it has nothing to do with its cinematic value, meaning how well it’s made. I rate movies purely based on how much I enjoyed watching them; it’s as simple as that. Even though I think a movie like Schindler’s List is one of the best-made movies and is important sociologically, I’d still only give it four stars because it’s not a favorite. My rating system is as follows:
Favorite:
Loved it:
Liked it:
Didn’t really like it: ![]()
Hated it: ![]()
