Meme Rules

I sometimes participate in a few memes. And, instead of having the rules posted with each and every post, I’ve decided to create a static page with all the rules. If you want to participate, then this is the place to come to see who does what, when, and how.

I currently participate in Top Ten Tuesday, Follow Friday, and Book Blogger Hop.

Tuesday: Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week, they’ll post a new top ten list complete with one of their blogger’s answers. All they ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post and sign Mister Linky at the bottom of their post to share with them and all those who are participating. If you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

Tuesday: Readers’ Workouts

Readers’ Workouts is a meme hosted by Joy at Joy’s Book Blog. Readers’ Workouts allows book bloggers to report their exercise progress for the previous week and make goals for the upcoming week.

Wednesday: Wordless Wednesday

I’m not sure who started Wordless Wednesday, but a lot of people participate in it. Basically, you share a picture each Wednesday with as few words as possible. Since I like to talk about my picture a little bit, I now call my posts Nearly Wordless Wednesday.

Thursday: Enquiring Minds Want to Know

Enquiring Minds Want to Know is a weekly meme hosted by Dollycas’s Thoughts. This meme is open from Thursday until Monday. Each Thursday, she’ll post three questions for you to answer. Everyone is welcome to join. Just link back to Dollycas’s Thoughts on your own Enquiring Minds Want to Know post and sign the linky at the bottom of her post to share all those who are participating. If you don’t have a blog or don’t want to participate via your blog, post your answers as a comment.

Friday: Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly book party hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. This is a great way to discover new blogs and connect with more people who share the love of reading. Participating can be as simple as answering the question in the comments for each post. Or, if you’d like to participate on your own blog, visit RoaCAW’s blog where he explains how the hop works.

Friday: Follow Friday

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee’s View and Alison Can Read. It’s a weekly meme that features two different bloggers so other bloggers can visit them and network with each other. Participating can be as simple as answering the question in the comments for each post. Or, if you’d like to participate on your own blog, visit Parajunkee’s View or Alison Can Read to read the rules.

Friday: Friday’s Fab Five

Friday’s Fab Five is a weekly event hosted by Froggy at Froggarita’s Bookcase. She asks five questions, which could or could not be book related, so that bloggers and their readers can get to know each other better. Participating can be as simple as answering the questions in the comments for each post. Or, it can be as intense as answering the questions by commenting on her blog, commenting on my blog, and posting about the event on your own blog. The only rule is that you coan’t use the same answer twice.

Friday: TGIF

TGIF is a meme hosted by Ginger at GReads. TGIF recaps the week’s posts and asks a question about books. You can join in by posting your own recap, answering to the question, and then linking up to Ginger’s post. Or, you can simply answer the question in the comments.

Saturday: A Bit of Me(me)

A Bit of Me(Me) is a meme hosted by my friend Danielle at There’s a Book. She created this weekly meme to get to know the blogging community she loves just a bit better. To know what makes them tick outside of books. Each week, she posts a question to be answered in the following week’s A Bit of Me(Me). Participating can be as simple as answering the question in the comments for each post. Or, if you’d like to participate on your own blog, visit Danielle’s blog where she explains how this meme works.
