June Monthly Wrap-up

This month was almost a bust in terms of reading like May was because of stress, school, and I got COVID. Fortunately, around the middle of the month, I got my reading mojo back, which is nice. I’ve really missed reading and it’s been nice to just sit, relax, and read, especially with everything that’s been going on.

My favorite book was THE MIDNIGHT LIBRARY by Matt Haig. In fact, it’s now my favorite book this year. I loved everything I read so I don’t have a least favorite book this month.

Nice that you didn’t have a least favorite book this month! Hope you’re all recovered from COVID. And I really loved The Midnight Library, too. 😀

Yeah, I had a really great month in books choices. 😀 It was nice that I liked all three of them as much as I did. I’m glad you loved THE MIDNIGHT LIBRARY too!

The Midnight Library is one of those books that I will always think about. Where the Crawdads Sing is also a memorable book for me.

My reading varies a lot by what I have going on and whether I have kids living with me. 🙂 The constants are that I always finish my Book Club book and that I always read, even if it’s only a little. It is my escape. Especially now with the world in disarray, I need that.

I understand. I try to read as often as possible. I don’t always read, though. It depends on my mood. This year, I’ve had such an interest in reading which is nice because I had been in an epic slump for a few years. 😀

I hope when circumstances (or just Life) keep me from reading. I always miss it! Hooray for your favorite read of the year! I just haven’t got to The Midnight Library yet but hopefully soon. Fingers crossed that you enjoyed Simon. That one is an all-time favorite of mine. 🙂
