My wonderful friend Ouisa had the opportunity to go to Kristin Cashore’s signing in Seattle. While there, she picked me up new copies of each of her books, Graceling, Fire, and Bitterblue and had them signed for me.
To celebrate, I’m doing a giveaway, which starts tonight at midnight (EDT), of the entire trilogy unsigned. One lucky person will win a copy of Graceling, Fire, and Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore. (In the interest of full disclosure, Graceling and Bitterblue are brand new and Fire is slightly used, read twice. Bitterblue and Fire are hard covers and Graceling is a paperback.)
Giveaway Details
- Entrants must be 13 years old or older.
- The giveaway is open to the US only.
- The giveaway runs until 12:01 am EDT on Sunday, July 1. Basically, you have the entire month of June to enter.
- The winner will be announced on Sunday, July 1. The winner will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to reply or a new winner will be chosen.

Fire almost surpassed my love of Graceling … almost. But, I’m glad to hear that you liked it. So many people love Graceling and then don’t like Fire. I have no idea why.

I loved, LOVED Graceling much more than Fire – I think it’s incredible to feel so differently about two of Cashore’s books. Says a lot about the author’s creativity!! I’m looking forward to reading Bitterblue and seeing how it compares. Definitely.

That’s so interesting to me to hear that people don’t like Fire very much. I loved it. It almost surpassed Graceling, but not quite. But, like you said, it does say a lot about Cashore’s creativity!
Well, I haven’t read Bitterblue yet (here’s hoping I win!), but I liked Graceling better, too. Maybe just because I read it first? I don’t know exactly why, because I really, really liked Fire, too. Just one of those things, I guess.
I’m glad you liked Fire at least. I don’t understand why people didn’t. I thought it was really good. And, I enjoyed exploring Fire’s world too.
