January 2018 Monthly Wrap-Up

This year, my goal is to read at least 36 books, which means I need to read at least three books per month. (I’m secretly, now not so secretly, shooting for four books a month.) So far, I’ve started off the year with a bang! 🍾

Hopefully, I can keep up some of this momentum so I can reach my secret (not-so-secret) goal. 😂 Truth be told, I don’t expect to read this many books each month since I participated in two readathons: Bout of Books and 24 in 48 Readathon. But, I should be able to read at least three books each month. 🤞🏻

My favorite reads of the month were City of Heavenly Fire and On the Fence. They both garnered 5 stars from me.

You’re off to a great start this year. I’m impressed! I thought Eliza and her Monsters was a 5 star book for you too??? I’m remembering wrong I guess. Good luck with your February reads. Start reading Scarlet and you’ll fly through it.

6 books is a great start! I think I read five in January and that’s kind of a lot for me, I probably average around three, maybe four, depending. Let’s hope we both can stick to the faster pace. 🙂

Nice to see that Eliza was a 4 star, I was kinda mulling that one.

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one who doesn’t read a ton of books each month. I always feel like the worst book blogger in the world, lol. But, yes, we’ll keep our fingers crossed for speedy reading! 😀
