- I finally read City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare.
- I started and stopped reading The Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling.
- I read Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson.
- I finished 2 Chronicles, read through Ezra, and started Nehemiah in the Old Testament.
According to Goodreads, I’m one book ahead of schedule in order to accomplish my reading goals this year.

Reading Plans for February 2013
- I want to reread A Company of Swans because it’s similar in nature to Edenbrooke and I now have a hankering to read another sweet, fun romance.
- I need to read Reached. (Some friends and I have a party with Ally Condie at the end of February and I need/want to be prepared.)
- I want to reread The Paradise Snare and, perhaps, read Darth Plagueis so I can participate in the Star Wars month at Books: A True Story.
- I actually want to read the book club book for February–The Scarlet Pimpernel.

Now I have the urge to go back and re-read the Company of Swans too. I loved all of Eve Ibbotson’s books! Heck I could probably re-read ALL of them since I’m still 15th in the queue for Reached at my library. ;D
Don’t you just love long wait times at the library?! Gah! So frustrating.
Hopefully, it’ll go by quickly for you. And, I’m glad to know another Eva Ibbotson fan. I’ve only read two of her books so far, but I want to read others too. 
Great month! I’ve only read City of Bones & City of Ashes, so I’m hoping to re-read the first two next month.

I hope you get a chance! I love the series, especially once you get to City of Fallen Angels.
I’m really behind on the Mortal Instruments series! I read the first three but didn’t continue. Now I’m gradually rereading those so I can jump into the newer ones as well as the Infernal Devices.
I’m looking forward to seeing what you think of The Scarlet Pimpernel. I loved the BBC series adaption as a child but never managed to read the book

I’m hoping I like the book. I love the 1982 movie with Jane Seymour.
So fun that you’re going to a party with Ally. I really liked Reached I think it was a great end and I felt like all the characters really showed growth. I hope you like it!
My group of friends and I have hosted a party for her for every book in the Matched trilogy. She said yes to us because we were the only group to have her over for Freshman for President.
It’s been a lot of fun to see this trilogy grow and become what it is.
I think I will like it.
