Jack’s Birthday Party

Our friends’ son, Jack, turns three on Monday so Ali and Tyler had a birthday party for him today. The theme was Little Einsteins, which is one of his favorite shows, and Ali made a cake that looked like Rocket. Most of his friends were there. We played games, colored pictures, ate candy and cupcakes, played with toys, etc. Jack seemed to have a lot of fun.

Jack's Birthday Party

On Monday, the Vigues stopped by to give us an invitation to Jack’s party. While they were here, Jack asked us if we could bring him a “3″ candle. Before we went to the party, we stopped off at Albertson’s and picked up a candle. He was so excited when we gave it to him.

After everyone left, Jack told Corey and me, “I don’t want you to leave. I want to hang out.” We stayed for a bit. Corey and I read him a story from one of his new books. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed spending time with him and the rest of the family. ;)

PS–I forgot to post this. While we were at Jack’s party, Jack asked me what my favorite candy was. I told him that laffy taffies were my favorite candy. He thought for a second and told me, “They’re my favorite too.” I love that kid!
