Happy birthday, Dayna!

My friend Ashley tagged me a while ago, but I didn’t have time to reciprocate until now. I’m supposed to tell you six interesting things about me, which is going to be hard since I’ve already posted a lot of facts about me in the posts 101 Facts About Me and Ode to LeAnn. But, I’ll try to come up with six new things. Dang you, Ashley!

1. I’m kind of paranoid. I’m a lot better than I was when I was younger. But, to this day, I can’t sleep in a house alone. I can sleep in a hotel room, dorm room, apartment, etc. alone, but not a house. I also don’t like mirrors anywhere near my bed, so I can see out the window.
2. I don’t like to sleep with my feet covered. I never have. When I was a child, I’d kick my blankets off in the middle of the night, so my feet weren’t covered. Once I became a teenager, I learned I could cover the rest of my body and just keep my feet uncovered.
3. I don’t like pizza. I’ll eat it if it’s ordered, but I don’t crave it like a lot of people do and I’d be perfectly fine not eating it at all. I also don’t think pineapple or any other fruit (other than tomatoes) belong on a pizza!
4. When I was little (4 years old or so), I used to sing while I was using the restroom. My favorite song that I’d sing was the “Love Boat” theme.
5. I used to travel a lot for work. Now, I only travel every now and then. Each time I go somewhere for work, I get a magnet and put it on my overhead cabinet. So far, I’ve had a chance to travel to: Chicago, IL; Anchorage, AK; San Diego, CA (twice); Albany, NY; Kona, HI; Omaha, NE (twice); San Francisco, CA; Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; San Antonio, TX; Minneapolis, MN; Tampa, FL; New York, NY; Portland, OR; Carbondale, IL; Phoenix, AZ (twice); Honolulu, HI; St. Louis, MO; Charlotte, NC; Kansas City, MO; and Seattle, WA.
6. I’m a mutt. I have ancestors from Sweden, Norway, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, France, and even from a couple of Native American tribes: Cherokee, and Choctaw.
