A little over a year ago, I started to go back through my old blog posts for the purpose of creating thumbnails for all my pictures. The pictures in my old posts were extremely large, but re-sized for the posts, and made some posts take a while to load. Now, every post has a smaller version of the picture that loads for the post and some have a larger version of the picture when you click it so you can see more detail. I also re-sized a lot of the images so they fit with my current blog theme format better.
During this process, I also edited a lot of my posts for consistency. I added links to my friends’ and family members’ blogs (as long as they’re not private), links to outside websites, edited content, etc. While I was editing my posts, I noticed that I use the word “so” and “well” a lot to connect two thoughts together. I really need to come up with different words or a better way to connect thoughts together as I don’t always want to use the same words. And, off topic, I need to learn to loosen up and not be so professional when I write a post.
Anyway, I’m really glad I’m finally done editing my blog. It’s been a long and arduous task, but I’m glad I did it. I feel so good about accomplishing everything I did with this project.

I can’t believe you did all that!!!! Crazy. But that sounds nice. I think I use “so” and “well” way too much. I haven’t noticed that you do…
About your evil comment…Sorry you didn’t know about my Mammy being here. But honestly she had NO extra time. I didn’t see her too much either. But they got a lot done so it was successful. And I wasn’t invited to the shower either. I crashed because I knew that my Mom was going. They decided not to do a combined family shower since our family is a little off the wall…Kels will have a combined family/friend shower…I don’t know when because I’m not throwing it!!! But you will definitely be invited to that. And hopefully I will too
Have fun at vampire suck. I feel bad that you’re going. But who knows?
I figured she was really busy. Kelsey’s embarrassed by us, huh? Doesn’t surprise me.
Congrats–that is a LOT of work!
Ali – Thanks! It was a lot of work!
I wouldn’t say embarrassed, his family is just so GOOD and “by the book”. They’re crazy in a wholesome way, and I think she didn’t want to have them feel uncomfortable because we don’t know how to hold back! Does that make sense?
Aymee – Yeah, it makes sense. I’m just teasing anyway. She’ll definitely fit in with his family.
Wow! That sounds like an intense and time-consuming project. How cool that you took the time to do that! I only have about eight months worth of blog posts and have considered going back through some of my early posts to add tags & links, but it sounds like an intimidatingly large project so I haven’t tackled it yet.
Violet – It was a big undertaking, but I’m glad I did it, especially the images so my older posts load faster. The editing the content was just because of my OCD-ness.
