For those of you who haven’t heard, the movie for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is no longer being released on November 21, 2008. 8O It has been pushed back to next summer.  The new release date is July 17, 2009.

I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, but I like the books more than the movies, so I’m okay with waiting another seven months for the movie.  My only concern is that with the plan to cut the Deathly Hallows movie into two movies, I just hope we don’t have to wait until 2015, or later, to finally find out what happens to Harry and his friends in movie form.  I mean the actors can only pull off being teenagers for so long and it’d be catastrophic if they cast different actors to finish the series!

Because the Half-Blood Prince movie’s release date is moving to July 2009, the Twilight movie’s release date is moving up and taking Half-Blood Prince’s spot! The Twilight movie is now being released on November 21, 2008; three weeks earlier than planned! Woo hoo!
