Death of a Snowman

Death of a SnowmanTuesday marked the end of my mini snowman Chaim. He didn’t even make it to Channukah. I was so disappointed. But, he melted in such a great way.

Even though Chaim’s death was very traumatic, it’s not all bad because it snowed again today. Corey and I went to the mall today to get his hair cut. We got there around 1:00 pm and left around 3:00 pm. When we went into the mall, it wasn’t snowing. When we came out, there was four inches of snow on our car. The roads were horrible!  We were slipping and sliding everywhere, yet people were still driving and talking on their cell phones.

It’s still snowing just as hard as it was when we came out of the mall. I tried to get a picture of the snowflakes because they are quite large, but they don’t show up very well in the picture. But, you can see how much snow there is on the ground after only a couple hours of snowing. I think we’re going to get at least a foot of snow before it stops. Hopefully, this snow will last a while and it’ll keep snowing in the next few weeks because I want a white Christmas. We haven’t had one in a long time.

Because it’s snowing so hard today, I decided to resurrect Chaim. I think he’s better than ever. Instead of twigs, he has candle arms now.
