Bret and Jamie, my brother- and sister-in-law, had their third daughter last night. London Blaser was born Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 11:20 pm. She weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20 in. long.

Bradlee Eugene Kingston Raymond
My niece Brittany had her third baby this morning. Bradlee Eugene Kingston Raymond, my second great-nephew, was born at 12:47 am CDT. He weighed 11 lbs. 2 oz. and was 22 in. long! 8O Brittany and Bradlee are doing well. :D
Eugene is a family name. It’s one of my grandpa’s middle names and it’s my dad’s middle name. My dad used to always tease my nieces and nephews by calling them Eugene. He always wrote [first name] Eugene on their birthday cards. And, whenever they’d come over, he’d say, “Hello, [(miss or mister) first name] Eugene.” They’d always complain and tell him they weren’t named Eugene. I think it’s really sweet that Brittany chose to name her son Eugene after my dad.

Amelia Kathleen Vigue
Ali and Tyler, our closest friends, have a new addition to their family. Amelia Kathleen Vigue was born Friday, February 11, 2011 at 6:12 pm. She weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and was 19 in. long. Ali and Amelia are doing well. :D
After Amelia was born (while Tyler was still at the hospital with Ali and Amelia), Corey and I watched Jack, Sheridan, and Henry. We arrived just in time for bed–Sheridan was already asleep, Henry was busy reading a book, and Jack asked if he could play Uncle Corey’s iPhone for a little bit. After I put Henry down for bed, I asked Jack if he was excited to have a new sister. He showed me the biggest smile, nodded his head, and said he was excited to meet her the next day.
We had the opportunity to meet little Amelia tonight. She’s absolutely adorable! I can’t wait to watch Amelia grow up and see how she adds to the family dynamics. Even though I’ve just met her, she’s already one of my most favorite people in the whole world!
I always forget how tiny and precious newborns are. Newborns are my favorite because they’re so cuddly, sleepy, and fun to hold! When Corey and I left, I didn’t want to give her back. I’m so grateful for our friendship with Ali and Tyler and that they are always so willing to share their family with us.

Paige Elizabeth Morris
Jen and Randy, my sister- and brother-in-law, welcomed their second daughter into their family yesterday afternoon. Their little girl weighed 4 lbs. 13 oz. and was 17 in. long. Her name is Paige Elizabeth Morris.
Paige is small like her older sister Addi was, although, she is a few ounces bigger. Addi has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of “sister” for some time now. We’ll see if that holds true once she realizes how drastically her life is about to change. ;)

Annabelle Leigh Hansen
Amber and Greg, my niece and nephew-in-law, welcomed their second child into their family today. Annabelle Leigh was born at 10:14 am CST. She weighs 7 lbs. 2 oz. and is 18.5 in. long. She’s exactly 18 months younger than her brother, Jared.
Belle is named after her great-great grandmother and her mom. Her first name comes from my paternal grandmother, Annabelle Jackson. And, her middle name comes from my niece’s middle name.
Amber and Belle are doing fine. Greg called me in response to a text I sent them and I got to hear Belle sneeze over the phone. It was really cute! :D Amber told me she came quickly as they were only at the hospital for three and a half hours before she was born. 8O Lucky for Amber! ;)
