The Force

I first saw this commercial last Wednesday.  One of my Twitter friends posted something about it.  The minute I saw it, I fell in love.  Not only is it about Volkswagen, it also incorporates two of my favorite things: Star Wars and John Williams.  With that being said, the main reason I love this commercial is because of my friends’ little boy Jack.

Jack is six years old and he’s obsessed with Star Wars.  I mean he really loves Star Wars!  If he could be a Jedi, it would be the best thing in the world to him.  In fact, he’s expressed interest in becoming a youngling.  Anyway, when Jack was first introduced to Star Wars, Ali would tell me about all the Star Wars related things Jack did and one of the more amusing ones had to do with the Force.  Jack tried and tried to get the Force to work for him.  When he couldn’t get it, he said things like, “I can’t get the Force to work. I need to practice more.” No matter how much Ali or Tyler tried to convince him that the Force isn’t real, he just couldn’t/wouldn’t believe it.

When I saw this commercial, it reminded me of him.  And, as many of you know, Jack is one of my most favorite little boys in the whole world so anything that reminds me of him is awesome in my book.  Enjoy!

PS–This is the same commercial that aired during the Super Bowl, or so I’ve been told since I didn’t actually watch the Super Bowl.

The Perils of Christmas Trees

This is the reason Corey and I have only put up a Christmas tree once the entire time we’ve been married.  I’m sure now that our cats are grown, they wouldn’t be as naughty.  But, you never know, especially with Dax, the perpetual kitten.  I guess we’ll find out next year.

More of Simon’s Cat

There are two new videos of Simon’s Cat so I thought I’d share them.

Old Spice Parody

Since there wasn’t a Friday’s Fab Five post today, I thought I’d post something my friend Anna introduced me to.  It’s hilarious and super cute!

More of Simon’s Cat

While I’m waiting for Friday’s Fab Five to post, I thought I’d share a few videos.  If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know I adore Simon’s Cat.  Thanks to my friend Anna, I have a new episode to show you.  And, while I was getting the embed code for it, I found two other episodes.
