Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

My mother-in-law was kind enough to give me two tickets to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Hale Center Theater in West Valley. Corey didn’t want to go so I asked my niece Aymee to accompany me.

I’ve had the chance to see Joseph once before at the University of Utah. Joseph was played by David Osmond, Donnie Osmond’s nephew. It was a fantastic production and I really enjoyed it. However, the experience at the Hale Center Theater was unbelievable. The actors/singers/dancers were fantastic and the play was adapted well to the theater’s circular stage. I also loved the props, especially the giant camel. (Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a picture of the camel.)

Bradley Lever played Joseph for the showing that Aymee and I went to. He has an amazing voice and did a fantastic job, which I was grateful for. As long as Joseph is fantastic, then I think the play will always turn out well. He also wasn’t too bad to look at either. I really enjoyed watching him play the part … for more reasons than one.

It was so much fun to see this play live again, and to see it at the Hale Center Theater on the circular stage. It was an experience I’ll never forget. This production will probably remain my favorite performance for years to come. I’m so glad I was able to share this experience with Aymee. We had a lot of fun together and I’d love to do it again with her hands down.

Bradlee Eugene Kingston Raymond

My niece Brittany had her third baby this morning. Bradlee Eugene Kingston Raymond, my second great-nephew, was born at 12:47 am CDT. He weighed 11 lbs. 2 oz. and was 22 in. long! 8O Brittany and Bradlee are doing well. :D

Eugene is a family name. It’s one of my grandpa’s middle names and it’s my dad’s middle name. My dad used to always tease my nieces and nephews by calling them Eugene. He always wrote [first name] Eugene on their birthday cards. And, whenever they’d come over, he’d say, “Hello, [(miss or mister) first name] Eugene.” They’d always complain and tell him they weren’t named Eugene. I think it’s really sweet that Brittany chose to name her son Eugene after my dad.

Congratulations, Brittany! :D

Paige Elizabeth Morris

Jen and Randy, my sister- and brother-in-law, welcomed their second daughter into their family yesterday afternoon. Their little girl weighed 4 lbs. 13 oz. and was 17 in. long. Her name is Paige Elizabeth Morris.

Paige is small like her older sister Addi was, although, she is a few ounces bigger.  Addi has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of “sister” for some time now.  We’ll see if that holds true once she realizes how drastically her life is about to change. ;)

Congratulations, Jen and Randy! :D
