Today, I’m spotlighting Jess at Gone with the Words. Jess has a great blog. She’s a great writer and keeps me engaged when I read her posts. I love her discussions and reviews. And, I love that we have similar reading tastes.
Every week, she posts a weekly recap called, Gone with the Week, of things that happened on her blog. This isn’t all that unique since I’ve seen a lot of bloggers do this. But, one of the things that I really liked about her recaps, that is very unique, is that she highlighted posts on other blogs she enjoyed reading throughout the week. As of this last Friday, she’s trying something new. She’s letting bloggers link their posts to her Gone with the Week post so they can promote themselves and share those posts they think are really special! Great idea, huh?!
I really love it when bloggers share the love and try to promote other bloggers because it really adds to the sense of community and friendship that I’ve felt is invaluable within the Book Blogging community. And, Jess is a great example of that. If you haven’t taken the time to get to know Jess or her blog, you really should. I know you won’t be disappointed.

Hi Jenni, I love Gone with the Words too, I’m a subscriber to both your blogs. I do love that new concept, I didn’t actually know she’s changed it recently as I’ve read her other Gone with the week posts.
