Only Three Books Left

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban CoverI just finished reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Now that I’ve read three of the six books, I want to revisit my theory about Snape. I know this isn’t very surprising, especially after reading Prisoner of Azkaban. However, in my defense, I have some questions about his character now, not only because of Prisoner of Azkaban, but also because of Chamber of Secrets. Before I post my “revisited” theory, I want to formulate my thoughts. So, keep and eye out for it in the next few days.

Since I have the three longest books left and I only have 18.25 days left, I’ve come up with a reading schedule. I don’t want to finish the other three too early or late. So, I’m going to read Goblet of Fire for the next six days (until the 7th), then I’ll read Order of the Phoenix from the 8th until the 14th, and finally, I’ll read Half-Blood Prince from the 15th until the 20th, giving me a day to let everything sink in before I start the final adventure. :D

  1. So… I was taking time to read Order of the Phoenix and I'm at the part where they are cleaning out the house. Sirius just told Harry about the Black family and talked about Regulus; then JK mentioned the locket they couldn't open and I had an epiphany. Here's my theory:

I think Regulus is RAB and he stole the locket BUT didn't have time to destroy it before Voldemort killed him. He had time to take it home and hide it, but no time to destroy it.

JK mentioned (through Sirius) that the Black family supported Voldemort's theory of pure-blood wizards, but didn't like the way he was obtaining power (i.e. the Horcruxes). Once Regulus found out that was the true Voldemort maybe he wanted to stop it.

Interesting huh? I wanted to know what you think…

Love you and have a great day tomorrow!
