2017 Yearly Wrap-Up

I had high hopes for 2017. I had a reading slump in 2016 and I could feel myself coming out of it in January 2017. I really wanted to read a lot, but with two surgeries and a myriad of other things happening in 2017, it just wasn’t meant to be. I’m happy with what I was able to read, though.

Observations

  • I read more adult books than I typically do.
  • Even though I owned some of the books I read, I checked them out from the library if I could read them on my Kindle.
    • I actually owned 9 of the books I read.
  • The only 5-star reads I had were rereads.
  • Thankfully, I didn’t have any 1-star reads.

What have you observed about your reading habits this past year?

I think I only had one or two one star reviews. I think it’s because I set the books aside if they weren’t doing it for me.
