Happy birthday, Tyler and Ainsley!

During this morning’s session of Conference, Elder Neil L. Andersen was called to be the newest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.  I had actually forgotten that Elder Wirthlin had passed away after last October’s Conference.  (It seemed like he had been gone longer than just these few short months.)  So, it was a pleasant surprise to be able to sustain a new apostle.

So far, I’ve really enjoyed the talks given by the leaders of the Church.  I especially enjoyed Elder Hales’s talk regarding the economic uncertainties in the world.  I also look forward to hearing the rest of the talks and feeling the Spirit during this weekend’s Conference.
