This weekend sure was edifying.  I always enjoy listening to General Conference, at least I do now that I’m an adult. I always feel so uplifted and at peace.

No matter what’s going on in my life, the words I hear from the Prophet and the other Church leaders always give me a sense of peace and reassurance that everything’s going to be okay.  I know I still have to endure through my trials and that I’ll always have trials throughout my life, but if I follow the counsel given during Conference, then I can get through it.  I just need to remember this throughout the six-month period in between Conferences. ;)

I enjoyed all the talks given during Conference.  One of my favorite talks included the one given by President Monson at the end of the Sunday morning session.  Change is something I’ve always had a hard time with, so listening to his words gave me some comfort that change happens and it’s okay.  I also enjoyed the talks given by President Eyring, President Uchtdorf, Elder Holland, and Elder Bednar.

I can’t wait to read the words of the leaders in November’s Ensign.
