Sunday Without Jack

Last weekend, our best friends, Ali and Tyler, moved to a different part of Provo because they bought a house. I’m really excited for them and I’m sad at the same time because their son, Jack, and I are best buds. Every Sunday, they’d sit with us in Sacrament meeting and Jack would sit next to me most of the time. He and I would draw pictures, look at the numbers and letters in the hymn books, name everyone sitting on the stand, and try to be as quiet as possible so we didn’t disturb everyone around us. After church, we’d go into the Bishop’s office to get some Smarties out of the Bishop’s candy jar and eat them together.

Because I was up at my parents’ last Sunday, today was the first Sunday without Jack. During Sacrament meeting, I leaned over to Corey and told him I missed having Jack with us. Today’s when it really sunk in that the Vigues are no longer in our ward.

But, to look on the positive side, I’ll probably get more out of Sacrament meeting from now on. Also, the Vigues are only ten minutes away, so I can always go over for some Jack time whenever I want.

Here are some pictures of Jack and me having fun on Uncle Corey’s computer.
